Holiday Surprise Box 2016 Pc Download 2017The Wii gained support for streaming Netflix in Oct. 2010 and it proved very popular. According to a survey conducted by Nielsen at the time, 25 percent of Netflix subscribers were accessing the service through the Netflix Channel on the Wii as of July 2011. That was back in the early days of media streaming popularity, but still an impressive stat. With that popularity in mind, it's surprising Netflix isn't available on Nintendo's latest, and also very popular console, the Switch. Could the end of support for the Wii be in part because Nintendo is set to support Netflix on the Switch? If so, it would surely be a coincidence as there's nothing to stop Nintendo allowing both to function at the same time.
